Direct-drive steel screws power the heavy, level lifting
Most BendPak two-post lifts are powered by twin direct-drive cylinders, one in each column to drive the carriages and lift vehicles. The small-scale XPR-9S-DC is designed with steel screws that span the full height of the model, providing more accuracy as the lifting carriages move up and down.
And because there are two steel screws in each column, you’re guaranteed to have a precise even lift and decent, keeping your vehicles level at all times.

Fixed to the top and bottom of both posts are tiny (seriously tiny) micro-switches that cut power to the miniature DC motors when activated. This prevents overworking the motor when the lift is fully raised or lowered.
